George Baker (1915-1975) was the cartoonist who created The Sad Sack cartoon during World War 2. After the war, he turned it into the Sad Sack comic strip and comic book and drew it until his death in 1975. Here we have an original 13.5x23” comic book page from Sad Sack #60 from 1966. It’s page six of a story and features the Sergeant, who’s obviously wearing some sort of female attracting perfume or chemical being chased around by various female animals. There’s a small brown stain that touches one of the frames of the story but is in nice condition otherwise with no rips or tears and would look good framed up and displayed.

Here we have an 11x14” B&W print of The X-Men comic book character “Storm” that was drawn by artist John Hebert in 2006 and boldly signed in black by him.

Original 3-Panel Comic Strip - American cartoonist Harry Mace (10/9/22 - 12/63) created the Junior Grade comic strip, sort of a Peanuts type strip about kids and their dog, Teebone, that was published and syndicated to newspapers across the country from October 1957 until early 1960. Here we have an original, published, 3 panel B&W pen and ink strip that’s dated 8/15 (don’t know if it’s 1958 or 1959 though) and signed by Harry Mace. It’s in Very Good overall condition and would look great framed up.

11x8.5” 50s style published cartoon from Artist John Killeen. Has been folded in half when he shipped to it someone, but is in good+ overall condition otherwise.

From our October 1-3, 2004 Cinema Wasteland Movie and Memorabilia Expo’s 5th Anniversary “Baddies” Reunion comes this original 16x22” poster/print (that we were told by several fans was way cooler than the original one-sheet ever was.) Each poster is printed on 10pt. glossy cover stock and will be shipped rolled. We had 500 posters available at the convention that were signed and numbered by the artist. While they last, you can get one of these remaining signed and numbered by the artist posters.

Adult starlet worked steady (in over 200 adult films) between 1986 and 2008, signed on a first edition issue #1 of her Carnal Comics: True Stories of Adult Film Stars comic book from 1996. Includes 6 B&W pin-up photos inside. Signed by Porsche Lynn on the front cover in black. In Near Mint condition.

All we know is that at this price, you’d be silly to pass up adding it to your collection!

From 1970 to 1980, over 200 films with Black themes were released to Drive-In’s and Grindhouses across the country where they came to be known as “Blaxploitation” movies. Many of these ground breaking films were powerful, hip, and just plain fun... And it seems that the horror and exploitation films were the most fun and profitable. Cinema Wasteland’s Radio Spot Apocalypse 3 celebrates the Blaxploitation Era of films, along with its kissing cousin, the Martial Arts movie, by collecting 125 different radio trailers to 103 different films and 3 double features on two CDs (with a running time over two hours long.) Although we’ve gone back and pulled almost every blaxploitation and martial arts radio spot used on the first two volumes of Cinema Wasteland’s Radio Spot Collections, Volume 3 features 83 original radio trailers and 37 original Intermission spots available here for the first time and not found on our other collections. Our fourth volume of radio spots offers up 150 original radio trailers for 85 different drive-in and grind house films from the 1960's, 70's, and early 80's on two CDs. These spots are all brand new and none of them are included on our three previous collections. Peppered throughout Radio Spot Apocalypse 4 are 36 original theater and drive-in intermission spots and advertisements, the original theme song to H.G. Lewis’ 1968 sexploitation classic, Suburban Roulette, nine different interview segments from the 1972 horror film, Who Slew Auntie Roo, and More! 198 total tracks on two CDs. Total running time for both discs is 138 minutes.

Radio Spot Apocalypse Volume 5 doesn’t feature audio trailers for classic, and not so classic films like the previous 4 volumes did. This time around we’re celebrating classic, and not so classic Radio Commercials, Public Service Announcements, Radio Station Plugs, and Assorted Advertising Promos from the 1960s, 70s, and 80s of FM radio.

Included are radio spots designed to get businesses to advertise on the radio, commercials and jingles for Candy, Soda, Beer, Cigarettes, various Stores and Car Dealerships, Classic Albums, Restaurants, and More! Remember New Coke?... You’ll find a few radio commercials for that disaster included on this collection. How about “Frank and Louie” the Budweiser Lizards, or a couple of truly bizarre Ban Deodorant radio commercials? Who doesn’t remember “Things Go Better With Coke”, “I’d Like To Teach The World To Sing” or “It’s The Real Thing” Coke ads. What about those “Pepsi Pours It On”, You’re The Pepsi Generation” or “You’ve Got A Lot To Live And Pepsi’s Got A Lot To Give” radio spots? In the 1960’s and 70’s, Top 40 radio station, CKLW, was the top-rated AM station in Windsor, Ontario and was easily heard in the Detroit, Cleveland and Toledo, Ohio areas as well. Calling itself “The Big 8” (as it was 800 on the AM dial) CKLW became an internationally known station that helped to break a number of Canadian Groups and Artists like Anne Murray, Gordon Lightfoot, Joni Mitchell, The Guess Who, April Wine, and The Five Man Electrical Band to name a few. By 1978, CKLW’s popularity was overshadowed by FM radio’s album oriented rock format and it became the station you listened to if you only had an AM radio in your old car. But The Big 8 lives on!

Here we have a series of CKLW air checks from 1968 to 1973 on three CD’s. These are actual radio shows (or at least large portions of actual radio shows) that were recorded as they originally aired, complete with disc jockey banter between songs, original commercials and sponsor spots, weather reports, and giveaways between complete songs and hits of the day. It’s exactly like listening to the radio during the CKLW golden age because it IS radio during the CKLW golden age! Also includes a 4th CD of 1950’s, 60’s and 70’s Concerts, Radio Programs, LP Release Ads, and Groups and Musicians doing original radio commercials and Public Service Announcements not found on our other Radio Spot CD Collections.
