    Tammy and the T-Rex (1993)

    DVD and Blu-ray Combo - Tammy (Denese Richards in her first feature role) is a popular high school cheerleader who’s new boyfriend, Michael, might just be the love of her life. Her jealous ex, Billy, has other plans for Michael. He and a couple of his buddies kidnap him and leave him to be mauled by a lion in a nearby wildlife reserve. A mauled Michael is stolen from the hospital by whacko scientist Dr. Wachenstein, who implants Michael’s brain into a large robotic dinosaur body… that escapes from the doctor’s lab and goes on a rampage killing off those that left him in this predicament to begin with. It’s a wacky, gory, and weird-as-hell slice of what in the world was the writer / director thinking to be sure.     Tenebrae (1982)

    Blu-ray DVD - American mystery writer Peter Neal (Anthony Franciosa) is in Rome to promote his new book, Tenebrae (“Darkness”) when a bizarre string of murders begin that strangely resemble the murders in his book while he himself, begins to receive death threats. Despite warnings from police, Peter begins to look into the murders with his staff, including his agent played by John Saxon. Cut by more than 10 minutes and released as “Unsane” here in the US, this version is uncut, uncensored, and well worth a watch.     DVD  / Blu-ray “Stash Box” Limited Edition - At the height of their comedy career, Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong teamed up with their long time record producer Lou Adler to make their first feature film about two buddies that travel from Mexico to Los Angeles, totally unaware that the van they are driving is made entirely of marijuana and the cops are on their tail. It was a hit and spawned a series of Cheech and Chong films throughout the 80’s.

    Here we have an FYE fan club exclusive DVD and Blu-ray comb 40th anniversary edition from 2018 that’s packaged in what would appear to be an old wooden stash box… and yes, all of us at a certain age these days had one.
