Dead Pit (1989)
2 Disc Special Edition - The sadistic Dr. Ramzi is killed by a fellow doctor and buried in the basement of an asylum along with his many victims. Twenty years later, the hospital is up and running once again. An earthquake rocks the building and unleashes the evil doctor and his legion of zombie patients, who go after a beautiful “Jane Doe” amnesia patient (Cheryl Lawson) in one of the more enjoyable horror films of the late 1980’s when horror was all but a sad shell of what it was a decade earlier.
Disc 1 includes the uncut widescreen version of the film, with commentary with director Brett Leonard, writer Gimel Everett, and actor Jeremy Slate; additional interviews, and trailers.
Disc 2 features photo gallery from the director archives, behind-the-scenes footage, effects test footage, and more. Now out of print. DVD
