Matted along with the December 19, 1969 cover of LIFE Magazine, which featured a story on the Manson Cult after he was arrested, to an overall 16x24” size. We thought we matted and sold out last signed check but discovered we had one listed on Amazon that we space on. We pulled it and matted it up, so this is our last available double signed check.

  • Here we have an original 8x3” Laurel Tape & Film, Inc. production check (#1754) from the filming of Dawn of the Dead. It’s made out to somebody on the film as a “fee” for $100. Dated March 13, 1989 and stamped Dawn of the Dead in the lower left side by Laurel Bookkeeper Vincent Survinski. The check is signed in ball point pen by both director George Romero and well as Vince Survinski, who as started was the Laurel accountant and bookkeeper as well as a production assistant on several of Romero’s films. (Survinski was also the guy that shot Ben in the head at the end of Night of the Living Dead as a member of the posse.) The check is matted along with full color poster style artwork as well as a color photo of the Machete Zombie to an overall 22x16” size to make a terrific one of a kind display piece.
