Rats: Night of Terror (1983)

Rats: Night of Terror (1983)

In the near future, after greedy corporations and the world’s governments destroy the world as we know it, a group of survivors discovers an abandoned research lab filled with food, water, and sadly, thousands of hungry rats. Not ordinary rats mind you, but super-intelligent mutant rats with an appetite for human flesh. Directed by Bruno Mattei, this low budget sci-fi horror cheapie is chock full of wretched dialogue, bad acting, poor effects (and even poorer “rats”) that comes capped off with a twist ending one has to see to believe. Widescreen print with director interview and trailer. DVD
