Boris Karloff finds a glob of “pure crystallized intelligence” buried deep beneath the Earth’s surface that needs a particular chemical to thrive. Sadly, the chemical can only be produced by humans experiencing pure terror... so the good doctor Karloff devises his very own Fear Chamber and begins kidnapping people to obtain the chemical needed.
