Dawn of the Dead (1978) 2 Signature Production Check
Here we have an original 8x3” Laurel Tape & Film, Inc. production check (#1754) from the filming of Dawn of the Dead. It’s made out to somebody on the film as a “fee” for $100. Dated March 13, 1989 and stamped Dawn of the Dead in the lower left side by Laurel Bookkeeper Vincent Survinski. The check is signed in ball point pen by both director George Romero and well as Vince Survinski, who as started was the Laurel accountant and bookkeeper as well as a production assistant on several of Romero’s films. (Survinski was also the guy that shot Ben in the head at the end of Night of the Living Dead as a member of the posse.) The check is matted along with full color poster style artwork as well as a color photo of the Machete Zombie to an overall 22x16” size to make a terrific one of a kind display piece.
MATTED PHOTOS: Each autograph is an actual signature matted with the described photo and NOT an actual signed photo or item. ALL pieces make attractive display pieces ready to slide into a frame and hang on the wall.
