Concert promoter, Bill Graham, took over and booked bands in the legendary San Francisco music and dance hall, Fillmore West from 1966 until 1971, giving a ton of 60s and early 70s bands their first break to perform in front of a crowd and the opportunity to record in the Fillmore as well as the Winterland (along with his New York venue, Fillmore East). Here we have a nice collection of original Fillmore West (and Winterland) concert posters from some of the concerts that Bill Graham promoted until he closed the Fillmore West and East in 1971.
POCO with Siegal Schwall and Wishbone Ash on March 11 - 14, 1970; and THE SONS OF CHAMPLIN with Mark Almond and Commander Cody on March 18 - 21, 1970 at the Fillmore West. This was Bill Graham show #273 and 274. Original 28x22” poster (with great Norman Orr artwork) is in good+ displayed condition.
