Classic LP Record Commercials from the 1960’s, 70’s and 80’s - Once upon a time, radio was king. You wouldn’t own a car that didn’t have an FM radio in it in the 1970‘s and when you weren't in your car, you carried a portable radio with you. As the title implies, Radio Spot Apocalypse Volume 7 is a collection of radio commercials that advertised a musician or bands latest LP Record, tape… or 8-Track.
You’ll find radio commercials for 130 different “new release” LP records from bands like The Allman Brothers, The Band, Alice Cooper, The Byrds, Canned Heat, Deep Purple, The Guess Who, Jethro Tull, Harry Nilson, Paul Revere and The Raiders, The Raspberries, Ike and Tina Turner, ZZ Top, and so many others. You’ll also find a few concert spots, PSA’s and bands doing various commercials for assorted products to fill out this two disc collection. Total running time (2 discs) is 158 minutes of musical mayhem.
