Midnight (1982)
Determined to escape the clutches of her drunken stepfather after her mother’s death, Nancy Johnson decides to leave home and hitchhike to California. Along the way, she runs into two seemingly harmless guys and they all wind up captured by a family of blood-drinkers that halfheartedly worship Satan and talk to their mother’s corpse. It’s one of John Russo’s best films, with effects from Tom Savini. Includes several interviews, trailer, and TV spots. DVD
