Deathdream (1974)

Grieving parents refuse to believe that their young son Andy was killed in Viet Nam, and in a modern retelling of “The Monkey’s Paw”, it isn’t long before Andy knocks on the door and returns home to the surprise of his mom and dad. Sadly, something is wrong with Andy... Horribly wrong. Written by Alan Ormsby and directed by Bob Clark (the duo that brought the world Children Shouldn’t Play with Dead Things), Deathdream also marked the second film effort from effects legend, Tom Savini.
