Director Jonathan Stryker (John Vernon) is searching for the perfect woman to play the role of “Audra” in his next film. On a weekend casting call, Samantha (Samantha Eggar) is determined to get the part. The character is crazy, so she actually committed herself to an asylum to prepare for the role.
