Blu-ray Disc - Tobe Hooper’s follow up to the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre sure got a bad rap when it first came out. Maybe it was deserved and maybe it wasn’t but I do know one thing, TCM 2 sure did get better with age. The Tom Savini effects that made the film after budget cuts are solid, the atmosphere of the decrepit carnival the family calls home is plenty creepy, and although it may well lack the “grit” of the original, a great camp feel, including a performance by Dennis Hopper as a Texas Ranger looking to avenge his family, and the chemistry between Bill Johnson’s “Buba” (Leatherface) and Bill Moseley’s over-the-top “Choptop” make for some solid laughs as well as scares. Includes commentary tracks from director and cast members, featurette, deleted scenes, and original trailer. Now out of print, this Blu-ray comes with the original art card shrink wrapped to the front cover.

Blu-ray Disc - Aspiring filmmaker Ken Adams just received financing for his first professional documentary on the city’s local lake. What he doesn’t know is that his film will put him on a collision course with the last survivor of the lost city of Atlantis and a battle between man and mutant. Due to prolonged Ohio winter weather issues and a distributor release date quickly approaching, director J.R. Bookwalter had to toss out the majority of his script for the film and basically just let the cast and crew just make it up as they went along. The result, is well, a complete cinematic abomination to say the least. But you sort of need to see it believe it. Includes commentary with cast and crew, location tour, trailer, and much more.

Blu-ray Disc - Released in the USA in cut form as “Creepers”, Dario Argento’s story of a young girl (Jennifer Connelly) who is able to communicate with insects and teams up with a bug specialist (Donald Pleasence) to track down a killer who’s butchering young girls was almost unwatchable in its cut version. Thankfully, the uncut version contains almost 30 minutes cut from the US version and is in reality, one of Argento’s best films, boasting great effects from Sergio Stivaletti and an awesome Goblin soundtrack.
