Manos the Hand of Fate (1966)

Mike and Maggie take a road trip with their daughter and family dog when they become trapped at a weird lodge inhabited by a Pagan cult. Soon caught between warring factions of the cult, the family attempts escape, only to find their fate in the hands of “Manos” worshippers. Manos is the sole feature film from Texas fertilizer salesman Harold Warren. It’s been called the worst movie ever made, and it does indeed make Ed Wood look like he knew what he was doing, but it has been restored and is now available uncut and in all of it’s crappy, no budget glory. Manos needs to be seen to be believed. Includes commentary from a couple of surviving cast members, three featurettes (including one on the restoration of the film) and the original unrestored version of the film. Letterboxed.  DVD
