Here we have an unused concert ticket for the November 12, 1980 Chicago Stadium Led Zeppelin show. The band of course called it quits when drummer John Bonham died on September 25, 1980 and the show never went on. The 5.5x1.62” ticket is a good one too. A $15 Mezzanine ticket, so it was one of the more expensive tickets you could buy.
The ticket is matted along with a cool B&W 9x17” B&W mini-poster of the original ticket order form showing Chicago Stadium at the bottom of the poster. It’s been matted to an overall 14x24” size to make a very cool rock ‘n roll display piece. Also comes with a nice color scan of the front and back of the ticket that is matted, as well as a typed letter dated 1987 from the Chicago Stadium Corporation concerning the authenticity of the ticket itself when they were originally sold.
