Blu-ray DVD - Kevin McCarthy is a small town doctor whose patients start becoming hysterical and accusing their loved ones of becoming emotionless impostors of their former self. Plant-like aliens have invaded Earth, replicating people in giant seed pods as they sleep. And it isn’t long before McCarthy realizes that the epidemic is out of control as he makes a desperate attempt to warm the world. Remade in 1978, 1997, and 2007, the original not only still packs a punch, but holds up against all of the remakes as a true sci-fi classic.
