Blu-ray Disc - Released in the USA in cut form as “Creepers”, Dario Argento’s story of a young girl (Jennifer Connelly) who is able to communicate with insects and teams up with a bug specialist (Donald Pleasence) to track down a killer who’s butchering young girls was almost unwatchable in its cut version. Thankfully, the uncut version contains almost 30 minutes cut from the US version and is in reality, one of Argento’s best films, boasting great effects from Sergio Stivaletti and an awesome Goblin soundtrack.   You get all 3 versions of the film: The Creepers cut, along with the 110 minute international cut, and an impressive 116 minute version of the film. Blu-ray Disc - The state of horror films today is the worst it’s been in the history of film if you ask us. Pathetic remake after pathetic remake of mostly middle of the road original films has left the taste of shit in our collective mouths for years now. One of the few fun remakes released in the past decade was director Alexandre Aja’s Piranha, which actually seemed to capture the fun of the original film for a change. This time around, an underwater tremor unleashes a horde of prehistoric flesh eating fish into the sleepy Lake Victoria just days before it’s set to explode with 50,000 Spring Breakers looking to party down in the sun and have themselves a drunken good time. This blu-ray DVD includes commentary, deleted scenes, ten different behind-the-scenes featurettes, and a deleted storyboard sequence.

2-Disc Blu-ray Collectors Edition - Tobe Hooper’s follow up to the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre sure got a bad rap when it first came out. Maybe it was deserved and maybe it wasn’t but I do know one thing, TCM 2 sure did get better with age. The Tom Savini effects that made the film after budget cuts are solid, the atmosphere of the decrepit carnival the family calls home is plenty creepy, and although it may well lack the “grit” of the original, a great camp feel, including a performance by Dennis Hopper as a Texas Ranger looking to avenge his family, and the chemistry between Bill Johnson’s “Buba” (Leatherface) and Bill Moseley’s over-the-top “Choptop” make for some solid laughs as well as scares. If you haven’t given TCM 2 a view in a while, I’d advise checking it out. I’m sure you’ll agree that TCM 2 really is a lot of fun. Drag and drop me to the cart

Blu-ray and DVD Combo Pack - It’s the original title of what we know in the US as “Doctor Butcher, M.D.”. Crazy doctor Obrero set up shop on the isolated island of Keto so he can conduct his “zombie experiments” in relative peace. After a gruesome flesh-eating cult does some nasty deeds in NYC, a couple of nosy do-gooders head out in search of Obrero and get caught up in his gruesome experiments. Widescreen print with trailer, photo and still gallery, interviews, and scenes added to the beginning of the US “Dr. Butcher” version.

You get both the Blu-ray disc, as well as the regular DVD in this two disc set.
